Publication of my white paper titled “The Gender Leadership Gap – Breaking Barriers for Women in Corporate Leadership”, at One Young India, in collaboration with NITI Aayog.

I was appalled at women’s underrepresentation in corporate leadership & resolved to help bridge this gap. I want to pursue business management so I can integrate innovative business ideas with technology to create a more efficient & sustainable business ecosystem. I undertook detailed research, surfing through books, listening to podcasts, and poring over academic journals on this topic to examine things from a different perspective and drawing insights accordingly. This disparity is a reflection of ingrained societal attitudes that restrict women’s access to leadership opportunities. Organizations, policymakers, and society must collaborate to dismantle systemic barriers, foster inclusive workplace cultures, and create sustainable pathways for women to thrive in executive roles. I wrote a white paper where I proposed solutions like inclusive hiring, leadership programs, and equity. This work represents not only my personal journey but also a step toward creating a more inclusive corporate world. I hope to continue lending my voice to this important cause and pushing myself to lead by example in the quest for gender equity in the business realm.
